© Michel Ponomareff / PonoPresse - ORCAS IN THE CITY, VICTORIA , BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA - Local artists create a unique design and apply it to the surface of a life size (approx. 8ft with base) custom formed fibreglass Orca calf. The Orca becomes the artist canvas. Once the work is complete, the Orcas are displayed around the city of Victoria. Orcas in the City is modelled after other community art projects, such as Chicago Cows on Parade,Toronto Moose in the City and Saskatoon, Pigs in the City.
